Gebze Logistic Facility – Setting New Standards in Warehouse Construction
Located in Gebze, Turkey, this advanced logistics facility represents a new benchmark in large-scale industrial design and construction. With a floor area of 50,000 m², it is the largest warehouse in the region, tailored to support modern logistics and supply chain operations. Built using a combination of reinforced concrete, a pretensioned prefabric system, and steel structures, the project ensures durability, flexibility, and long-term sustainability.
The facility is designed to accommodate the most demanding logistical operations. With an impressive total loading capacity of 277 tons, it is equipped to handle heavy-duty materials and goods efficiently. The design includes a floor height of 14 meters, allowing for multi-tier storage solutions and improved vertical space utilization. Spread over one basement level and two regular floors, the warehouse maximizes its operational efficiency.
The facility boasts a vast 70,000 m² storage area, supported by 79 loading ramps that streamline loading and unloading processes. The 26,500 m² circulation area has been meticulously planned to ensure smooth material handling and traffic flow, further enhancing operational efficiency.
This facility incorporates cutting-edge construction techniques and advanced operational planning, keeping in mind the specific needs of logistics companies.
